Using Metrics in the Quality Laboratory: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is the fourth of eight programs in the AACC/Seattle Children’s Hospital Lab Management Series of webinars. Dr. Geoffrey Baird will teach you three methods you can use to assess whether your quality metrics actually support your lab’s quality goals. The use and misuse of common quality metrics for assessing test utilization, turnaround time, analytical errors (i.e. delta checking), call center efficiency, and laboratory billing will also be reviewed.
