The TDM-TOX Division has launched a new Speaker Program which will sponsor a speaker at a Local Section Meeting. For more information on this program, please contact Tai C. Kwong, TDM-TOX Division Chair.
Program Objectives:
- Promote the science and practice of Therapeutic Drug Management and Toxicology
- Enhance the visibility of the TDM-TOX Division among clinical chemistry peers
- Energize Division membership participation in divisional activities
- Promote Division-Local Section interactions
- Yield Continued Education materials for Division and other AACC members
Speaker Eligibility and Selection:
- Speaker is an active member of the TDM-TOX Division
- Local Section can nominate or request Division recommendation for a speaker
- Division Awards Committee will make the selection, after soliciting inputs from Division Membership, if necessary
- The presentation topic is in the general area of TDM-TOX
Funding:
- One speaker per year
- Airfare, one night of hotel, meals and other expenses, and a $250 honorarium. The maximum amount of funding is $1,000
Continued Education Material
- Speaker and Local Section agree to share the presentation with the Division for continued education use on Division website open to all AACC
